There are really only two things that motivate us as human souls: Love and fear. You can have both at the same time, but you can choose love over fear to build a sense of calmness within you.
When we are feeling stress because of anything, it is always rooted in fear. Some of the most common are:
- Work stress – fear of losing your job or disappointing your team
- Family & relationship stress – fear that your children will make poor choices, fear of being alone
- Financial stress – fear of being unable to support yourself and your family
The next time you are in a stressful or difficult situation, take a breath and think for a moment. Are you choosing love or fear?
Then, say this positive affirmation out loud three times to make it your truth:
I choose love over fear
Continue repeating it until you feel its peace in your soul.
Acknowledge that your fears are there to protect you, but remember that the Universe will always take care of you. Everything is going to be okay.
